Autism: The Teacher’s View

The aim of this study was to explore teachers’ views on autism and their training needs. Stone’s Autism Questionnaire (1987) was modified and used to assess the level of knowledge and understanding among a sample of 72 teachers and support staff from four mainstream and four special (non-autistic) schools in south London.
