Fundacja Zrozumieć Autyzm
The Foundation was established in 2011 with the aim of supporting families of people on the spectrum and promoting a therapeutic approach based on relationships and play. Organization provides information about therapy methods, therapeutic tools and supportive approaches to everyday life. The Foundation supports parents in learning techniques that deepen the relationship with their children and promote the development of social and communication skills. The foundation also supports educational institutions in training and workshops in the area of communicating with students on the autism spectrum and developing social skills and adapting the educational setting to the special needs of people on the spectrum. Since 2017, the Foundation has been organising youth exchanges and trainings on the topic of autism spectrum within the Erasmus+ programme. The Foundation brings together specialists from many fields who support people on the spectrum: clinical psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, neurodevelopmental therapists and social animators to jointly plan and implement therapeutic solutions to support and improve the quality of life of people on the spectrum.
