Perturbações do Espectro do Autismo e Inclusão: atitudes e representações dos pais, professores e educadores de infância

This investigation was developed with a view to better understanding attitudes and social representations of parents, teachers and early childhood educators towards inclusion of children and young people with ASD. Regarding attitudes and social representations towards the inclusion of students with PEA, early childhood educators were more supportive and parents were less favorable. Subjects who have experience working with students with ASD, those who they have specialized training and the teachers hired are more supportive of inclusion. Thus, this study corroborates the importance of the experience that comes from contact with children and young people with ASD to better understand the same.
